day 1 : settlement in your new country house ; visit of the historical center of Pistoia.
-day 2 : in 15 minutes you can reach Montecatini Terme , visit the termal baths. Evening in Montecatini Alto, a picturesque hamlet on top of a hill : panoramical view.
-day 3 : Florence : visit the Duomo S. Maria del Fiore; Ponte Vecchio ; Boboli Gardens.
-day 4 : Florence : Uffizimuseum ( reserve the tickets or you'll have to wait for two hrs !); Santa Croce church; Lungarni ( strolls along the Arno river ) .
-day 5 : Lucca : visit of the historical center; in the evening enjoy a walk along the promenade in Viareggio, at the seaside .
-day 6 : Vinci : panoramical "Chianti wine" road to the birthplace of Leonardo : visit of the museum, enjoy the view. Visit S Miniato in the evening.
-day 7 : Florence : Fiesole : the roman anfitheater, the old churches, panoramical view, San Domenico.
-day 8 : Pisa , Miracoli square ,the leaning tower, the historical center, San Piero a Grado .
-day 9 : market in Pistoia in the morning; in the evening visit Collodi, where you can enjoy the park ( 200.000 visitors a year ) dedicated to Pinocchio and Villa Garzoni.
-day 10 : In the Apennines , visit Cutigliano and Gavinana, pictoresque old villages ; in the evening enjoy a trekking in the forest !
-day 11 : Florence : Galleria dell'Accademia ( Michelangelo's masterpieces are kept here ) and S.Lorenzo open air market; visit to the church of S.Maria Novella ; Piazzale Michelangelo .
-day 12 : Villa di Poggio a Caiano and Villa di Artimino : two of the most beatiful villas of the Medici family 20 minutes far from Pistoia.
-day 13 : Siena by train or by car : visit the historical center
-day 14: Chianti : enjoy the charming hillls where the famous wine is produced ; visit the nice villages of Radda, Gaiole and Greve in Chianti
-day 15 : S.Gimignano : visit the beautiful town , one of the nicest in Tuscany, famous for its hundred towers.
-day 16 : visit of Cinque Terre , five little villages on the sea : no words to describe this enchanted place ! If you are in love, you can't miss the "Path of love".
This is just an example : don't forget that Rome is only 2 hrs far and that there are places like Volterra , Montalcino, Pienza, Pietrasanta, Prato, Bologna, that deserve absolutely a visit.
