Agostini's Farmhouse - Tuscany by the owner

We usually swap offering this farm house, but we have other relatives and friends which might be interested to take part in the exchange and to offer different accomodations.

Read below to have a better idea of our general interests .


WHERE ?

-Tommaso is open to suggestions but at the moment it is not easy for him to plan a holiday much in advance and he prefers short range exchanges : Italy or somewhere else in Europe easy to reach. Also interested in the main film festivals :Venice, Cannes, Locarno and Berlin.LONDON is also at the top of the wish list.

-Antonio is generally interested in any seaside place during the first two weeks of August, preferably not too far from Italy . He is also interested in a week in London at anytime.

-Elena could be interested in any place in Europe preferably within easy reach by public transportation and mostly in the period November - March : she is open to suggestions.
Overseas ? No, thanks ! At at the moment we are not planning to fly overseas. We are certainly interested to visit places such as California , Australia, Canada but most probably we are not going to make big trips in the very near future. Feel free to contact us in any case.

WHEN ?
We prefer not to exchange our house during summer because it is generally full booked and so we prefer a non simultaneus exchange. Indicatively, we can host you from November to March. It may also be possible to host you in high season,if a week is still available. In this case, we could confirm the availability of that week only 3-4 weeks before your desired arrival day. A simultaneus exchange could be arranged from November to March.

SIMULTANEUS OR NOT ?
We like non simultaneus exchanges, but only if we both know when we are going to do it and have taken a decision about the dates. As the guest house is also rented out, how can we know if the house is rented or not in the future ? There can be a last minute booking, and the house is requested all the year along , even though there are periods like the Summer when it is always booked up, and others like late November when it is free most of the times.
Simulteneus exchanges can be arranged most likely during low season. We are seldom able to arrange a simultaneus exchange from May to September . If you want to come during high season and you offer is very attractive (e.g.a nice apartment in central Manhattan or London ), send us an email : we might find a friend or a relative living in Tuscany who is willing to swap with you.

WHAT ABOUT THE CAR ?
We prefer not to exchange the car because we think it is a big responsability : better to spend some money and not to risk to have discussions about little or big damages at our cars or ( even worse ) about accidents involving third parties. We might change our mind but in general we prefer to not swap our cars.

SORRY !
We get an average of 200 offers a year , don't be offended if we refuse your proposal : we cannot be on holiday all the year round !
We are used to file the most interesting offers : we might come back to you in the future to check if it is possible to organize a swap even though we don't accept in the first istance.
